Kill The “Little Bitch” Inside
Last night I was reading this book called “Sell Like Crazy” by Sabri Suby. Here is one of the chapters that really inspired me as it’s so applicable to what I teach:
Kill The ‘Little Bitch’ Inside.
What was he talking about?
That inner voice we have that might stop us from waking up early, from showing up consistently for our gym session, for learning those extra skills to perfecting our crafts, our business, our relationship/marriage and so on.
Essentially this refers to our willpower.
I loved this particular paragraph where he’s said:
“You need willpower, which is the control exerted to either do something or retrain impulses and the ability to control your own thoughts.
If your required to exert willpower to do something, it means there’s internal conflict. It means, the ‘why’ is not big enough or the ‘why’ hasn’t overtaken your desire for whatever the alternative is.
You want to make your ‘why’ so big that your ‘how’ becomes easy.”
I absolutely love that.
So, my question to you is, how deep is your hunger for success?
Have you worked out your ‘why’ so that your ‘how’ can flow inevitably?
How unstoppable are you when it comes to achieving your dreams?
How much self-control do you have?
What are some of your fears that’s feeding that little bitch?
Remember, the very successful people have more things they say NO to. They make conscious decisions on what to let go off in order to replace them with more productive ones.
So my dear friend, what do you need to let go off in order or experience a better quality of life? You know the answer. Even if you don’t, what do you think the answer would be? Take a few minutes and trust your unconscious mind to answer it for you.
If, the little bitch crawls back, kill it right there and then (I know it can be easier said than done). I preach this all the time. You have to take control over your life. Otherwise, sorry to say but that little bitch will. I refer to this in my coaching sessions as being a victim. As soon as you hear your own excuses, know that your stepping into a victim’s shoes where the little bitch is in control of you rather than the other way around.
This mind-set is applicable to absolutely all areas of life. Whether it’s about your business, career, relationships, marriage, health (mental, physical and spiritual), family and so on. Your hunger for succeeding in any of them should be so big that you would never have to force yourself in order to get results.
Which area of your life are you not succeeding in? your marriage? Or absence of your dream marriage/relationship? Fitness? Wealth? Mental health/physical health? If you’re not happy in any of these areas, that means there’s room for work to be done. Where? Nowhere but inside of you first. All change needs to start from within. Own your failures, 100% and shut that little bitch inside that blames anything and anyone else.
Your focus should be learning more skills in life for solving the problems your facing. The dissatisfactory results in life are simply an indication of us not having acquired the relevant information and teachings for it. That’s all. We are living in an amazing day and age where there are so much resources available for our growth and success than it has ever been before. Question is, are we looking?
There are tremendous amounts of parenting trainings, marriage & relationship counsellors/coaches, therapists, mentors, fitness coaches, business coaches, sales & marketing/communication courses, books, podcasts, audios and so much more available, ready to be of service to you and your families. But have you been hungry enough to reach out?
You must crave it so much so that you won’t care what all you have to do to get there. “ Just show me the way, and I’ll run” said Many Khoshbin, the Iranian-American multi-millionaire real estate mogul when he first started from 0.
It’s simple. If you want to see desirable results in any areas of your life, you must invest in it. Whether it your time, your money (or both), your skills, hard work and effort. You have got to invest first to get profit in return.
And as Warren Buffet said: “the biggest investment you can make, is an investment in yourself. The more you learn, the more you earn.”
“Without deep hunger for success, it’s like trying to work a lighter that has no fuel. You get sputtering little sparks, maybe even a short-lived flame, but no fire.” Sabri Suby
And again, as with every other life changing act, killing the little bitch happens in nowhere but your mind.
P.S If your struggling with any of the above questions and being limited in your life as a result of it (lacking willpower, self-control etc.), get in touch now and allow me to serve your purpose further.
Here’s to living a bitchless, empowered life:)
