I have come to learn in life through extensive research, that if we accept the differences between the nature of men and women, then not only we will not get annoyed about them anymore but we can get to enjoy and embrace them instead. If we were to all be the same, then where would the challenge and excitement be? In my opinion this is one of the very core places where us humans can learn and grow instead of everything always being the same leading us to boredom and eventually death.

My coach always said: “We are always either growing or dying”. So why not taking growing in relationships and friendships seriously? After all it is a big chunk of our lives, and can influence so much of our emotional, mental, spiritual and physical being.

Here is a summarized list of the differences that I have gathered for you all. Now I must highly emphasis that obviously there are always exceptions and not everybody is the same; this content only speaks of the norm and majority of people:

1- Women like talking more but men like silence more.

​

2- Women like formalities, ceremonies and luxuries but men like them less.

​

3- Men are more into logic, rationalizing, actions and achieving goals. However, women are more sociable, like sightseeing/ looking around and are quite talented and insightful about such things.

​

4- Women are good listeners but men are not as good at it.

​

5- Women think of the smaller picture (micro scale) but men think of the bigger picture (macro scale).

​

6- Women solve problems through talking but men solve them in silence.

​

7- Women have better linguistic skills than men do. Men don’t talk as much and women must understand them through their actions.

​

8- Men use their left hemisphere (the more academic and logical side) but women can use their left and right (the more artistic and creative) hemisphere at the same time.

​

9- Women are subtle and brilliant at noticing people’s faces and are stronger in their kinaesthetic(touch), auditory (hearing) and olfactory (smelling) senses. These senses are less sensitive in men.

​

10- Women think of the details. They pay more attention to emotional problems/topics. Men think general and easily ignore the irrelevant and useless information.

​

11- Women feel and love through their ears and attention but men through their eyes. This is why we have seen many times a good looking girl dating a not so handsome guy. Because he is probably linguistically quite capable of saying the right things at the right time. Women get highly aroused by a man who knows how to talk well (gentle man life, polite, poetry, knowledgeable) and men the woman who looks hot and irresistible.

12- Women have more fears than temper but men get angrier instead.

​

13- Women are more in the past and men in the future.

​

14- Men are selfish in their young age and eventually become kinder as age increases. However, women are kind when they are young and become selfish with time.

​

15- Women want more equality but men want more superiority and power in the social scene.

​

16- Women are more likely to get depression than men. Men are more likely to turn to alcohol; opposite of women.

​

17- Women try to have their kids satisfied but men want them independent.

​

18- Mothers love all her kids but fathers love the kids that take orders and more attention.

​

19- Women remember names and faces easier than men.

​

20- Women easily accept the influence men, but it’s the opposite in men.

​

21- Women pay a lot of attention to love and have less sexual desire but it is the opposite for men.

​

22- Women are slow and delicate but men are strong and have more self-confidence.

​

23- If women are asked to help they are satisfied but this nature is less in men.

​

24- For most of women, talking and empathizing is a tool for emotional bonding but for men talking talking is for socializing.

​

25- Women remember both ordinary and exciting pictures which is opposite for men.

​

26- Women have a lot of tolerance for pain and sorrow but men have more tolerance against soul level pain.

​

27- Women analyze the situation a lot more when it comes to marriage but men choose quicker.

​

28- When women have upsetting thoughts they show more emotions than men do. Men are less emotionally expressive.

​

29- Emotions are very evident in the facial expressions of women such as fear, excitement and etc. But men have less facial expressions.

​

30- Women feel success when they are acknowledged and agreed with, but men feel success when they prove their ability and when they have reached their goals.

I can’t wait for you all to start noticing the shift in your relationships after having changed your perception in such a way. Accepting the core differences because now you understand that they do really exist, and you wouldn’t take your partner’s actions in a wrong way anymore. How amazing would that be? I strong believe this can automatically bring more peace and harmony in to your lives, trust me .
